Following on from our giveaway yesterday - where there’s still one copy up for grabs! - we have an exclusive interview with Sasha Blake. Her debut novel is called Betrayal and is released next week and sounds like a great read.

Tara Palmer-Tomkinson, a self-confessed IT girl, is the latest celebrity to write a novel. Inheritance is due out in the Autumn of 2010 and will be inspired by Tara’s life. The book will look into a world of “private jets, parties and international intrigue”.
It will be published by Pan Macmillan and Inheritance will be the first of 2 books with them.
What I’m wondering is if she’ll do a Katie Price and get it ghost-written…

With the release of the cover of Marian Keyes’ latest novel ‘The Brightest Star in the Sky’, Penguin have also redesigned the covers for some of Marian’s older titles too. They all follow the same format of her newest book with her name and title in the middle of the book, and the covers are also very colourful.
I really like them, and think they are an improvement on the older more dated ones. Here’s the ones that have been released so far… what do you think?

Aoife is in an on/off relationship with Jake, but things hit the skids permanently when Aoife finds herself unexpectedly pregnant. Jake doesn’t want to know so she is left to deal with the hormones of pregnancy and shocks of birth all alone. She hasn’t even got her mum because they don’t get on, and they’re back home in Ireland while she’s in London.
On the other hand, her best friend Beth and husband Dan have been secretly trying to get pregnant with no success, and they’re devastated. They put on a brave front to Aoife, but inside they’re falling apart. Why can’t Beth just tell her best friend of her woes? Will Aoife and Jake work it out, or is someone special lurking around the corner?
