Cover Change: The Brightest Star in the Sky by Marian Keyes
Posted on Thursday, July 16th, 2009 by LeahWe posted the gorgeous black cover for Marian Keyes’ news book The Brightest Star in the Sky a while ago however there are now 2 covers floating around - the black one and a gold-y coloured one. I think both covers look great, but I think I probably prefer the original, black cover. Let us know what you think! The synopsis, if you still haven’t read it, reads:
At 66, Star Street in Dublin, someone is watching over the lives of the people living in its flats. But no one is aware of it – yet… One of them is ready to take the plunge and fall in love; another is torn between two very different lovers. For some, secrets they want to stay buried will come to light and for others, the unveiling of those secrets will have tragic consequences. Fate is on its way to Star Street, bringing with it love and tragedy, friendship and heartbreak, and the power to change their lives in the most unexpected of ways…
The Brightest Star in the Sky is released on the 29th October!
Thanks to Suzanna for bringing this to my attention!

This week’s ‘Author of the Week’ title goes to Elizabeth Noble. Elizabeth has been writing books since 2003, and has 5 books to her name so far. Leah wasn’t too keen on

At her best friend’s wedding, Angela walks in on her long-term boyfriend Mark cheating on her with someone on the back seat of their car. Nice. So she does what any self-respecting woman would do - flees… not just the wedding, but the country as well! Angela ends up in New York City with no friends, no money and no job.
