Send in YOUR Pictures of YOUR Bookshelf!
July 10th, 2009 by LeahWe’re always talking about other peoples’ books so I was hoping we could see pictures of all of your bookshelves. Take a picture using your camera of a webcam and post them in the comments section and we’ll start a page showing all of the many different bookshelves.
So come on guys. Get your pictures of your bookshelves in and let us see ‘em!
Put LINKS to your pictures in the comments then Chloe and I will make a post showing off all bookshelves!

A great idea!!! I’d love pics of other people’s bookshelves!
I have some on my FB (yes, I’m crazy like that), but those are from December 2008 and they’re so outdated by now. I was totally planning to do a new post with detailed pics of my collection as soon as I have more time, lol. I can take a quick pic tomorrow though, it’s too dark tonight already. So do you need like just one general picture of the collection? I suppose that’ll do and I’ll post a detailed pics with all the book covers etc. on my blog in due time.
Once more, I love the idea and I hope that many people (including authors!!!) respond!
ps: Will you two girls post pics of your collections too?
Yep, I will post mine tomorrow!!
One or two is great!
Yes will post mine tomorrow, too! It’s a tidy mess! LOL!
Do we post the pictures in the comments? If so, how do you do that?
Just post the links to where you uploaded them! Once we get a few we’ll put them properly in a post for all to see!
i have books scattered all around my bedroom, haha
Alright, I’ll be the first then! Here’s a quick peek at my bookalicious collection: http://i31.tinypic.com/b7yljp.jpg (excuse the poor quality) It may not seem that big, but it’s 2 x 2 m and will need some rearranging soon as I’m expecting several new books next week. I’ll post detailed pics on my blog sometime next week or so.
C’mon, people, don’t be shy!
ps: Oh and I know it’s all a bit of a mess because books of the same authors are all over the place, but they’re often in different format and I store my books by format to maximise the space so e.g. Sophie Kinsella, Jodi Picoult, Marian Keyes and many others can be found on different shelves, sorry about that, but to me it looks the most neat because the books are the same size.
OMG I Want your bookshelves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My pics are coming!!
Here’s my bookshelf - webcam quality I’m afraid because my batteries died in my Digital camera. Will try and get better quality pics on Monday when I get new batteries!
My top 2 shelves and a little of the 3rd: http://chicklitreviews.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=1884
The bottom 2 shelves http://chicklitreviews.wordpress.com/?attachment_id=1885
I can’t see anything.
There’s supposed to be some attachment, but I just get a blank blog page.
AND WHERE ARE THE OTHER BOOK PHOTOS, PEOPLE???
Sorry people, it’s physically impossible for me to post any pictures. I do not own my own camera. My parents have a digital camera but they have OCD issues and I’m not allowed to use it. I would ‘steal’ it, but they’ve hidden it away and I don’t know where it is. My only possible option is to buy a disposable camera from the chemists, which would cost a tenner, use the whole role of film taking random pictures, and then take the thing to the nearest photography shop to get developed - at a cost of £5.99. The whole thing would cost about £15 and I haven’t even got 20p at the moment as I’m unemployed and out of work. The bottom line is, I can’t post pictures. It’s depressing but there’s really nothing I can do about it and with the best will in the world, I don’t see how I can get any pictures up. Sorry.

There, those should work!
Yay, these work, but I still can’t see much - looking good from the distance, but I’m still looking forward to the close-up!!
Gorgeous bookshelves - love ‘em. Want em for myself, in fact!
You must have lots of space - my bedroom is massive but somehow that never quite translates into big wallspace. Do you keep your books in a ‘library’, living, dining room or other?
Oh my goodness! Those are some gorgeous bookshelves
I am extremely jealous of them!
