Book News: Emily Barr's Next Novel
Finally Amazon have a new book up for Emily Barr. I’ve been looking for ages! Her new book is currently Untitled but is due for release on 13th May 2010 and sounds like another fab read:
A girl flees to Venice to escape her dangerous past in this electrifying novel of intrigue, psychological tension and suspense…
Lucy Riddick is a nice, normal thirty-something girl, living an ordinary life in Cornwall. She has a lovely boyfriend and a brilliant best friend. To all appearances, life is going pretty well.
But one night Lucy packs her bags and vanishes, leaving her loved ones behind, desperate for answers. Because Lucy has a secret. It turns out she is not really Lucy Riddick at all. And when she steps off the train and arrives at her next destination, Venice, she will become someone else entirely. If she doesn’t, something bad is going to happen to her. But what happens if something bad is already there, waiting?

Holly Denham works as a receptionist at a big bank in London, and is slowly getting used to her job, alongside her colleagues, keeping in touch with her ever eccentric family and her best friends Jason and Aisha.
I pretty much love all manner of reality singing shows, and having the X Factor back on our screens is fab! I’ve just read and loved Anne-Marie O’Connor’s take on singing shows with her fab book Star Struck, and now Will Davis has also taken on the subject too. His book, Dream Machine, was out a few weeks ago but I spotted it in the shop last weekend and had to share as it looks fab. Here’s the synopsis:
