I pretty much love all manner of reality singing shows, and having the X Factor back on our screens is fab! I’ve just read and loved Anne-Marie O’Connor’s take on singing shows with her fab book Star Struck, and now Will Davis has also taken on the subject too. His book, Dream Machine, was out a few weeks ago but I spotted it in the shop last weekend and had to share as it looks fab. Here’s the synopsis:
“And the name of the girl through to next week is says Stina, and I want to kill her for pausing once again. Among them are ice-queen Louise, who thinks she’s got god on her side, foulmouthed Joni, desperate to hide the fact that she’s got a baby, mousy teen Ella, obsessed with her stepmother’s boyfriend, and cocky Riana, a stripper with a naughty penchant for coke. Each one is determined to be the new Purrfect girl.
