Book Review: No Ordinary Love by Anita Notaro

Posted By Leah on April 19th, 2010

Lulu has always been the sensible member of her family. She has a good job as a psychologist, lives in a lovely flat and drives a fantastic car. However after a hectic day at work Lulu realises that she’s fed up of listening to other people’s problems and completely turns her life around. Book News: Homecoming by Cathy Kelly

Posted By Chloe on April 19th, 2010

I’ve been scouting around for news of a new Cathy Kelly book for a while now as I really enjoy her books (and so does my mum!), and finally I’ve found something! Homecoming is due out on September 30th, and sounds like a wonderful read.

“Golden Square is a pretty Victorian garden square tucked away in the city, where a group of women live side-by-side. Rae Kerrigan, mother of three grown-up sons, runs the square’s tearooms, Titania’s Palace. Connie O Callaghan, a good-humoured teacher lives with her younger sister. Everyone believes that she’s professionally single, but if so, why does she curl up with romantic novels at night in a pink bedroom bedecked with fairy lights? Into this settled world arrive two new residents: Mrs Levine, a mysterious elderly American and Megan Flynn, a beautiful, young British actress who has just had an affair with the married star of her latest movie. Like magic, their arrival signals huge change for all of the women in Golden Square.”
