Posted By Leah on June 16th, 2010

Isabel Bookbinder is back and after failing as both a novelist and a fashion designer, this time she’s determined to make her career choice work and has decided to become a wedding planner. Isabel manages to bag a job working for Pippa Everitt but after losing a couple of brides, she ends up losing her job.

Isabel isn’t deterred and instead decides to start up her own wedding planning business. Her first few clients include best friend Lara, who is marrying Matthew, Isabel’s brother and Summer Shelley, an ex-pop star who’s determined to have a lavish bash. Paige Toon’s fourth book Pictures of Lily is out fairly soon (July 8th, get it pre-ordered!) and we thought we’d bring you a few videos featuring the lovely Paige. We will also be reviewing Pictures of Lily at the end of the month, as well as having a competition where you can win a bundle of all of Paige’s books and, finally, we’ll have an article from Paige discussing all of her books including her fifth book which is a sequel to Johnny Be Good (I am psyched for Johnny Be Good Part II). Enjoy!

Book Snippets

Here are a few book snippets, there isn’t enough info to be worth separate posts, so here are some things confirmed but with which we have no extra info!

- Ruth Saberton has announced that her second book with Orion, Second Thoughts, will be out next April! That is fab news, and I cannot wait for it, regardless of the fact I have no idea what it’s about - that’s how good Katy Carter Wants A Hero was!

- I was on Milly Johnson’s website earlier and she has announced that from next year she will be publishing two books per year (like Carole Matthews) and there will also be two titles out using the word ‘Autumn’ and ‘Winter’ to complete her seasons set (A Spring Affair, A Summer Fling etc). That’s fab news! Milly also announced her first two titles will be re-jacketed to match her others (yippee, I love matching covers).

- The fab Isabel Wolff is back next August with a new book!
