Posted By Chloe on June 28th, 2010

When Sasha manages to get into Cambridge University, she is sure that she’s going to become a hugely successful physicist and really do well. Her professor, Theo Dexter, however, has totally different plans for Sasha, plans she isn’t at all happy about. When it turns out that he has betrayed her in the worst way possible too, Sasha swears revenge and is determined to succeed at all costs.

Theo’s wife Theresa has known about several of his affairs with students, but been willing to put up with it because she loves her husband. Book Cover: Personally, I Blame My Fairy Godmother by Claudia Carroll

Posted By Leah on June 28th, 2010

The cover for Claudia Carroll’s first book with AVON has finally been released and I absolutely love it. The book will be titled Personally, I Blame My Fairy Godmother (a fab but rather long title) and is due out on 5th August 2010. I’ve not read any of Claudia’s books but I have two on my shelf and I can’t wait for this one as it sounds fab. Here’s the synopsis:

Jessie Woods absolutely believes in fairytale endings. So would you if you had a recession-proof career as a daredevil TV host, a palatial pink mansion, and the dream boyfriend. But, quicker than you can say Cinderella, her life falls to pieces and suddenly her prince isn’t quite so charming, her party-loving friends disappear and even her faithful friend Visa no longer loves her… Utterly heartbroken and jobless, Jessie is forced back home, to live with her stepmum and two evil stepsisters. Is it time for her to give up on the dream - or will Jessie learn that happy endings can come in the strangest of places? Avon’s hot new acquisition presents a tale of princes who turn out to be frogs, Manolo Blahnik glass slippers and not-so-happily-ever-afters…
