Book News: Rebecca Chance's second novel
Posted on Monday, December 7th, 2009 by ChloeIt’s untitled as of yet, but I was pleased to find out that Rebecca Chance has another novel due out next summer. I loved her debut book Divas, and although this is as yet untitled, I have managed to find a synopsis for it. It’s not due out until 5th August 2010 but here’s the plot:
“They met in rehab - but some of them had rather more therapy than they bargained for. Supermodel Amber Davis should have the world at her feet. But her secret addiction has led her down a dangerous path. Lap dancer Skye Ellwood is desperate to get out of the life she’s living, but has no idea how - until a client makes her an unusual proposition. Following an ultimatum from his fiance, A-list movie star Joe Jeffreys is finally heading to rehab to sort out his sex addiction - and save his squeaky-clean image. Spoiled daughter of a legendary rock god, Petal Gold is convinced she’s a huge star in waiting, and she’ll trample on anyone she thinks is standing in her way. Passion, jealousy, betrayal, revenge and scandal: during their tumultuous thirty days at Cascabel clinic, the lives of Amber, Skye, Joe and Petal will be transformed forever. But for one of them, the stakes could not be higher - or more dangerous.”

Patricia Scanlan is one of the biggest names in women’s fiction, and has held her place at the top for a good many years now. I first heard of Patricia because my mum absolutely loves her books, and is always trying to get me to read the City Girl trilogy which I must find the time to read! I recently had the pleasure of reading Patricia’s latest book, a Christmas themed title called
It’s 1982 and Dora Jerusalem has just come to London and has managed to land a job at glossy magazine Modern Woman. When she meets Guy Boleyn at a party, her whole world changes as she finds herself falling in love with him.
Ruth Gilligan may only be 21 but she’s already had two novels published, Forget and Somewhere In Between. Her third novel, Can You See Me?, will be published by Hodder on April 1st 2010 and sounds fantastic. I adore the cover, also. Here’s the synopsis:
I loved Lucy Diamond’s latest book
Luke Greenfield (“The Girl Next Door”) has fallen for “Something Borrowed” and will direct the romance, produced by Alcon Entertainment toppers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson along with Hilary Swank and Molly Smith through their 2S Films banner.
