Her next book is already up for pre-order though, and it’s to be called The Way To A Woman’s Heart, and is due out on September 24th 2010. No cover yet but we’ll post it when it’s available! It sounds like another magical read, and here’s the synopsis:

Linda-Green-Things-I-Wish-Id-Known-300x300I’ve finally found the cover for Linda Green’s 3rd novel Things I Wish I’d Known and i have to say I’m not overly keen. It’s a bit garish and bold for me, but I do like the sound of the story, so this is a case of don’t judge a book by its cover! It’s due out on May 13th 2010 and here’s the synopsis:

Faced with the stark contrast between the glamorous dreams of her fifteen-year-old self and the present, Claire Cooper is forced to make some life-changing decisions in Linda Green’s sensational new novel.

When Claire discovers a sealed envelope containing a long-forgotten ‘dream list’ she wrote as an idealistic fifteen-year-old, she begins to wonder how the reality of her life turned out to be so different. What happened to the handsome footballer husband, the high-powered law job and the beautiful Georgian townhouse she had her heart set on all those years ago?

Recently divorced and going nowhere fast, Claire returns to her hometown, determined to get her life back on track. But could her obsession with past dreams and lost love ruin her only chance of true happiness?

Book Review: Be Careful What You Wish For by Alexandra Potter

carefulwhatyouwishforalexHeather Hamilton wishes for a lot of things: that she could get a seat on the tube, that she could meet a great man and that she could eat a bag of maltesers without gaining a stone in weight. Typical small wishes that we wish for every day.

Her wishes never come true until one day Heather buys some heather (irony!) from a gypsy and suddenly everything Heather wishes for seems to be coming true. She gets a flatmate, she loses 5lbs, she even gets a fab boyfriend.

Is it really magic?

The Dating Detox by Gemma BurgessGemma Burgess’s debut novel, The Dating Detox, is due for release on December 24th and I read on Gemma’s website that if you emailed her, you could get the first three chapters. I did so and I also asked if it was OK to post them on the site and Gemma said yes! So… here they are. I’ve read the first three chapters and they’re hilarious and I can’t wait to read the book (look out for my review soon). Visit Gemma’s website to learn more about the book, more about Gemma and to see the fantastic postcards Gemma has made to get people interested in the book! Here’s the synopsis for The Dating Detox and read the first three chapters under the cut! You can also view the three chapters in PDF format by clicking here.

If you can’t date anyone nice, don’t date anyone at all. Dating is a dangerous sport. So after her sixth successive failed relationship, romantically-challenged 20-something Sass decides she’s had enough. The Dating Sabbatical is born. No men, no break-ups, no problem. The result? Her life – up till now joyfully/traumatically occupied with the Holy Trinity of dates, clothes and vodka – suddenly goes from bumpy to smooth. Chastity rocks. No wonder nuns are always singing. Everything seems to fall at her feet. Especially men. Will Sass break the rules before the three-month Dating Sabbatical is up? Why does fate keep throwing her in the path of the irritatingly amusing Jake? Will she ever roll the dice and play again? Or is a love-free life too good to risk losing?
