Just the two releases from Little Black Dress in December. I love the sound of A Date In Your Diary and the cover is fab.

Jules Stanbridge - A Date In Your Diary - 10th December jules stanbridge a date in your diary

Harriet Peel knows what’s hot and what’s definitely not. As the ‘what’s on’ writer for her local magazine, it’s her job. Her own social life, however, is teetering on the verge of non-existence. With the last of her friends tying the knot and the threat of being replaced at work by some annoying London ‘it’ girl, it’s time for drastic action.

Determined to find the ideal partner to take to the wedding, Harriet decides to register on a dating website. And when the resulting liaisons turn into experiences worth writing about, she suddenly finds herself the unwitting star of a hugely popular new column. Will her newly acquired social status as a minor celebrity help in her quest or is she destined to go to the wedding alone… again?

Suzanne MacPherson - Talk of the Town - 24th Decembersuzanne macpherson talk of the town

Kelly Atwood thought she’d found Mr Right, so when she discovers her new husband has a heavy-duty sideline in drug smuggling on her wedding day, she doesn’t think twice about punching him in the nose and fleeing to the small town of Paradise, Washington, where she immediately gets gorgeous upright attorney and local hero Sam Grayson feeling hot under his stiff collar.

Unfortunately, the one thing Kelly hasn’t realised is that she inadvertently took off with a suitcase stuffed full of money that isn’t hers, and now there are some decidedly dodgy characters hot on her stiletto heels, determined to get it back… Sizzling hot passion and dangerous pursuits can only mean one thing – there’s going to be big trouble in Paradise.

roisin meaney - love in the makingRoisin Meaney’s 8th novel Love in the Making is due out on 4th February 2010, and I think the cover looks delicious! It’s wonderfully girly, and couldn’t you just gobble up that cake?! Anyway, the book sounds pretty good as well, so here’s the synopsis:

“Hannah Robinson is just about to open the doors to her new shop Cupcakes on the Corner when out of the blue her boyfriend Patrick announces that he’s leaving her for another woman. Faced with starting a business on her own, Hannah begins to wonder if her life-long dream has just turned into a nightmare. So her best friend Adam sets his birthday as a deadline - seven months to make her shop a success, or walk away from it all. And as Hannah immerses herself in early-morning icing, she soon discovers that she’s too busy to think about Patrick and his now pregnant girlfriend …or to notice an increasingly regular customer who has recently developed a sweet tooth for all things cupcake …But while Hannah is slowly piecing her life back together, family friend Alice’s is falling apart. Her husband Tom’s drinking is getting out of control and things are about to get a whole lot worse. As the seven-month milestone approaches, Hannah must decide her future. And while she’s figuring out what’s really important, it becomes clear to everyone that happiness in life, and in love, is all in the making.”
