Book Cover: Paradise by Katie Price

    May 27th, 2010 by Leah

Here is the cover for Katie Price’s next novel Paradise. It’s out on 22nd July 2010. I think the cover looks OK but the name puts me off so much I wouldn’t even dream of picking it up. I respect her ghostwriter Rebecca but even so, I just wouldn’t pay money for something with Katie Price’s name on!

When glamorous model Angel was forced to make a life-changing decision and choose between a Ethan, the laid-back Californian baseball player, and giving her marriage to football star Cal another go, many were stunned when she picked Ethan. But life in LA is good: Ethan adores her and Honey and their life could not be more glamorous. But nothing is perfect, and after a year together problems are beginning to surface: a stalker seems to have singled out Angel; Ethan’s agent Benny despises her, and isn’t always good at hiding it; and when Ethan faces financial ruin the couple are forced to star in a reality TV show about their life together. Despite everything, though, Angel is convinced that Ethan is the man for her. So why does she always feel breathless when Cal is around? And why can’t she stop thinking about him and his new girlfriend? But as the tabloid headlines have always been quick to point out, the path of true love for our sexy celebrity has not always been smooth. So when her dad falls dangerously ill Angel rushes back to England to be by his bedside, throwing her and Cal back together. But Ethan loves her and Cal has a girlfriend, and she made her choice a year ago. It’s too late to go back now, isn’t it…?

I don’t like Katie Price at all, but Rebecca Farnworth is a good writer and I think I’ll give this one a go.

Ha! I steer clear of Katie Price novels. She doesn’t even write them herself.

Am soo excited that Katie Price has a new novel coming out…
I am a hugee fan and have loved each and every one of her books so far, espcially the ‘Angel’ ones!!
The drama in her life is exciting and keeps you guessing constantly
The love life between Angel and Cal is amazing…was soo pleased when they finally got together in Angel but it was disappointing and heartbreaking in Angel Uncovered when she left Cal…the true love of her life for Ethan
I cannot wait to read paradise and just know it’s going to be as eventful and dramatic as the rest
      I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an Angel/Cal Reunion :) <3 <3

i have read all her books (apart from the baby ones) and although it has katie prices name on it doesnt mean to say its bad actaully they are really godand are a compelling read. although i dont like her as much as i did i stil admire her.
as the old saying goes - dont judge a book by its cover - so why should it be different in this case ??
Rebecca is a really good writer and its a shame to not buy the book because someone elses name on the cover when so much detail has been put into it for you to enjoy it.
i read the angel uncovered book last easter and i was soo upset that she didnt pick Cal over Ethan.
i have ordered the book and cant wait til it comes.
fingers crossed for a Cal/Angel reunion - it will make loads happy :) <3 :D read these books they are really good.

Oh I got this book the other day, and I have read it five times over. It was amazing, and I’m sorry to ruin it for you, but yes there is a Cal/Angel reunion, they get married again at the end. I recommend this book so much, I have all the others and there all torn nearly because I’ve thumbed through them and read them so much..

      To Cal & Angel. x

OK so I got this book yesterday, and to be honest I actually think that it is quite addictive. But I really thought that Angel and Ethan should have gotten married and she should have moved on from Cal. I really do reommend this book. I also think that Katie Price should bring more books out from the ‘Crystal’ saga!

Well i finished this book last night and it was really good I don’t think there should be another sequel to angel now she should let that one lie now and move onto crystal

Her books are really good! I can’t believe you’d be so quick to judge a book, just because it has Katie Price’s name on it. Who cares if she wrote it or not? It’s a good book!
