    Congratulations Louise Bagshawe!

    May 7th, 2010 by Leah

We would like to send our congratulations to Louise Bagshawe who has won the parliamentary seat and is the new MP for Corby. We all know how much Louise puts into her politics work and she also manages to produce a book each year for us fans of her writing which is fab!

    Congrats Louise!

Sorry, you can delete that above comment. What I mean is, I don’t think it’s appropriate for you to go political on us when this is a blog about books. Also, you can drop the author birth announcements while you’re at it. This stuff is outside of the book and is not really in your remit.

I should probably add that I am not a resident of Corby and have never been there in my life. So this is really nothing to do with me. Or any of us. It shouldn’t be posted IMO.

We post announcement like this not to be political but because we know how much Louise puts into it. We’re not picking a political side, we’re congratulating an author on something she’s worked very hard on.

As for the birth announcements, why does it matter if we want to congratulate authors we enjoy on their good news? We are rather entitled to post whatever we like and if we want to congratulate an author on a great achievement or some good news, we can. I think your comment is rather out of order to be honest. If you don’t like the baby announcements/Louise Bagshawe congrats posts, don’t read them - just skip right past them.

Well to be honest this site is boring and you and Chloe are both fake. Plus, you deal with lying authors.

I would very much love to know what your problem is. If you don’t like the site, don’t come to it, it’s as simple as that. And also, what authors are lying? I’d be interested to know how you even know if an author is lying.

Sorry Amy but this has really pissed me off. How DARE you say we are fake? You have absolutely no grounds on which to say that, and if you don’t like the posts we make, then don’t bother visiting our site.

As for calling authors liars - I doubt you have anything to back up a statement like that either. Please don’t come to my site and insult Leah and I because it’s just damn rude and disrespectful. I’ll be removing any further derogatory comments you make.
