Book Review: Love Nest by Julia Llewellyn

Grace’s childhood home, Chadlicote Manor, is being sold to settle family debts. Will losing her home break her heart or is it the chance for a new life? Karen’s husband has the Manor in his sights as a chance to start over in rural paradise. But Karen prefers city living and, when a new flame turns up the heat, starting again might just mean the end of the road.

Gemma is longing for a baby and, unlike her own loft apartment, Karen’s house is an ideal family home. But the dream house can only have its dream baby if Gemma can convince her flakey sister to help out. Up-and-coming rockstar Nick has designs on Gemma’s flat. He’s also taken a shine to classy estate agent, Lucinda, but she’s not all she seems - and neither is he, since he’s hiding a girlfriend he’s looking to ditch when the sale goes through. Book Cover: Secrets & Sins by Jaishree Misra

Jaishree Misra’s debut novel was titled Secrets & Lies and now her second book will follow on with the whole “Secrets” part of the title and will be called Secrets & Sins. It’s due out on 8th June 2010 and I really quite like the cover. For those who prefer to know what the book is about, here is the synopsis, too:

Be careful what you wish for! Seven years ago, Riva Singh and Aman Khan had a passionate love affair. Despite their attraction, Riva rejected Aman for reliable Ben, the man who became her husband. Now, Riva is a bestselling London novelist, whilst Aman is a Bollywood superstar. Both have watched each other from afar but have stayed apart since their painful split. Aman is torn between his desire for Riva and his young family - not to mention the havoc an affair would have on his golden boy public image. Book News: Pieces of My Heart by Sinead Moriarty

Ooh I was so excited to find this little piece of news! Fab Irish author Sinead Moriarty is back in 2010 with her new book Pieces of My Heart! It’s going to be published in August 2010, but no word if that’s the date for Ireland or the UK so we’ll update you as and when. There’s no official synopsis yet either, but you can go over to Sinead’s website to read the first chapter online! I’ve had a read and its great stuff, I can’t wait to find out more now!
