AW Movie News: Flavorwire’s Top Ten Chick Lit Movies

Posted By Danielle on August 21st, 2011

Earlier this week Flavorwire named their Top Ten Chick Lit books to movies. I was eager to see which ones they had on their list and see how my own would compare. Pleasantly surprised, they included a few of my picks and a few I’d almost forgotten about. They did include a couple I absolutely couldn’t stand like The Bridge’s of Madison County, but it also had a couple I’m interested to watch now like In Her Shoes which was originally written by Jennifer Weiner. Stop by and take a look at Flavorwire’s choices, but in the meantime here are a few of my favorites(remember these are all books to movies)…

An Ideal Husband by Oscar Wilde (This is an absolute must see! My very favorite!)

The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger

Romeo & Juliet directed by Bazz Luhrmann

Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

The Help by Kathryn Stockett

I Don’t Know How She Does It by Allison Pearson

One Day by David Nicholls

What do you think? Do you have any favorite book to movie Chick Flicks you couldn’t do without?
