AW Movie News: Sing You Home by Jodi Picoult
Reviews have been varying in support of and on the fence about Jodi Picoult’s newest release, Sing You Home. There’s no doubt it’s got the Picoult signature controversial topic as well as courtroom battle, but is it something we’d love to see on the big screen? Thanks to Ellen DeGeneres working with Storyline partners Craig Zadan and Neil Meron that may no longer be a question. It was announced earlier this week that Ellen has optioned it with her own money and is hoping to produce the feature length film sometime in the very near future. Very exciting news! I would definitely go to see this, and I love that Ellen’s behind it (I’ve been watching her show on YouTube and I wish someone would give her her own show here, she’s brilliant). I saw that video a few days ago, loved seeing Jodi discuss her novels!

I am so excited!!!!! I love Ellen and LOVE JODI even more! I thought Sing You Home was FANTASTIC and I would go see the movie in a heartbeat.

I actually didn’t care for this book, but I think it definitely has the potential to be a great movie. And I love Ellen too so having her produce it I’m sure will make it great!

I haven’t read the book yet, but must admit I think the plot sounds like a good movie!
