Book Deal: Melissa Hill signs Crime Thriller deal

Chick lit author Melissa Hill is now going to be writing Crime Thrillers with her husband Kevin, and has just signed a book deal with publishers Simon & Schuster. The first book, ‘Taboo’, which is to be released under the pen-name of Casey Hill is the first in a series.The books are said to be along the lines of Patricia Cornwell’s novels. Don’t worry though, Melissa has told me she’ll still be writing her fabulous chick lit novels too! Her next book, Something From Tiffany’s, is due out in 2011!

When I first read the title I thought “oh no, One of my favourite authors disappering?” then read the rest of the entry. I’m glad she’s still going to be writing chick lit, but I defo be checking out her crime ones as it could be an interesting read.
