Book News: What's Yours is Mine by Tess Stimson
Posted on Monday, September 14th, 2009 by ChloeI read my first novel by Tess Stimson last year, The Cradle Snatcher, and loved it. We’ve noticed that Tess has her next book up for pre-order on Amazon which is released on 2nd April 2010 and is called What Your’s Is Mine. Tess’s books are always chick lit with a real edge, and this one sounds really exciting as well. Here’s the synopsis:
“Like a princess in a fairytale, Grace Hamilton has been showered with blessings: professional success, a happy marriage, and she even lives in a beautiful castle. But the only thing she really wants - her heart’s desire - is the one thing she can never have. Her sister, the beautiful Susannah, has made a mess of her life. Like a reverse Midas, everything she touches turns to shit. But the Fate puts Grace’s future in Susannah’s hands, changing the balance of power between the sisters forever. “
We’ve still got a long way to go, but I can’t wait!

Alison Penton Harper’s fifth book in the ongoing Housewife series, Housewife in Trouble, will be released on 5th February 2010. It follows Housewife Down, Housewife Up, Housewife on Top and Housewife in Love. The synopsis reads:
When Nathan McCann discovers a newborn baby boy half buried in the woods, he assumes he’s found a tiny dead body. But then the baby moves and in one remarkable moment, Nathan’s life is changed forever.
Debby Holt’s next book Recipe For Scandal is due out on 7th January 2010 and the cover has finally been released. I have to say I really like it. The book also sounds intereting:
Yona Zeldis McDononough’s new book Breaking The Bank was released a few days ago (Sept. 8th) and as well as having a fab cover, it sounds like a fab read:
Marion Bishop feels like her life has fallen apart around her. Her 9 year old daughter Hope was killed in a hit and run accident, and the police have never found who did it. Marion’s also managed to push away her husband Sam, the only person she has left in the world, and now feels in the depths of despair.
Having loved Ellie Campbell’s second novel,
This week’s Author of the Week is none other than the hilariously funny Chris Manby. I’m a huge fan of hers and can’t wait for her next book. Her biog doesn’t offer up much as it’s out of date but here it is anyway:
