Book News: The Way To A Woman's Heart by Christina Jones

Posted By Chloe on December 16th, 2009

Christina Jones has been a huge hit with her latest book “Moonshine“, and the paperback of that is due in January 2010. Her next book is already up for pre-order though, and it’s to be called The Way To A Woman’s Heart, and is due out on September 24th 2010. No cover yet but we’ll post it when it’s available! It sounds like another magical read, and here’s the synopsis:

“Cooking the perfect menu for the perfect date always seems simple at the time…Escaping from corporate city life into the heart of the Berkshire countryside, Sally Ellison had been expecting to find rural tranquillity and a chance to indulge in her favourite pastime ? cooking. So when she meets a devastatingly delicious chef by the name of Ash Lawrence, Sally knows she’s died and gone to food heaven. Things go from divine to celestial for Sally, however, when her favourite top-rated TV cookery programme ? Midnight Feast ? comes looking for a venue to film their latest show. But while Sally is pulling out all the culinary stops to become their most successful contestant ever, Ash is busy cooking up the ultimate recipe for winning Sally’s heart ? or should that be a recipe for disaster…?”

Wow, these date changes are flying in! Having already drafted up my August posts, I went on Amazon to see if all the books for the next few months haven’t had date changes. Christina Jones’ new novel Moonshine‘s publication date has been brought forward and will now be released on August 6th. As a huge Christina fan I look forward to it and I love the beautiful cover!

For Cleo Moon, some things just never go according to plan …Newly single and unemployed, Cleo Moon ups sticks and moves to the gloriously rustic hamlet of Lovers Knot. With its host of mad but delightful neighbours, she very soon feels at home, especially when she finds The Most Beautiful Boy in the World slumped on her doorstep – the drop-dead-gorgeous and achingly-upper-class Dylan Maguire.

But when she is given the taxing task of organising the annual Harvest shindig, things start going HORRIBLY wrong for Cleo. She decides to dust off an old book on winemaking to concoct a new harvest tipple, and by the time she’s uncorked the first bottle, nothing in Lovers Knot will ever be the same again …

Book Review: Heaven Sent by Christina Jones

christinajonesheavensentClemmie has a problem - she’s had almost as many jobs as she’s had birthdays and her lovelife is on the critical list. But with the big 3-0 looming she’s determined to transform herself from unemployed singleton to loved-up success.

Trouble is Clemmie’s dream job would be working for local entrepreneur Guy Devlin, owner of the famous pyrotechnics company, The Gunpowder Plot.

He’d also be high on her list of candidates for significant other too. But Guy has a whole veritable cargo hold of baggage - avaricious ex-wife, a host of monster ex-step children.

He’s not even looking for an assistant. And if he was a quirky amateur firework maker with a penchant for cream cakes and big explosions wouldn’t be high on his list.

Book News: Moonshine by Christina Jones

christinajonesmoonshineChristina Jones, author of Going the Distance, Running the Risk, Stealing the Show, Jumping to Conclusions, Tickled Pink, Hubble Bubble, Seeing Stars, Love Potions, Heaven Sent, Happy Birthday plus a few more has a new novel out on September 3rd called Moonshine. Christina Jones writes great novels from what I’ve read. I haven’t read any of her newest, magical novels but will see if I can find any, they sound interesting. The synopsis for Moonshine reads:

For Cleo Moon, some things just never go according to plan …Newly single and unemployed, Cleo Moon ups sticks and moves to the gloriously rustic hamlet of Lovers Knot. With its host of mad but delightful neighbours, she very soon feels at home, especially when she finds The Most Beautiful Boy in the World slumped on her doorstep - the drop-dead-gorgeous and achingly-upper-class Dylan Maguire. She decides to dust off an old book on winemaking to concoct a new harvest tipple, and by the time she’s uncorked the first bottle, nothing in Lovers Knot will ever be the same again …

It sounds interesting and I love the cover, I like the black of it and I don’t think I’ve got a book with a black cover, it looks really great. (I am a HUGE cover fan - I love beautiful book covers!) If you want to find out more about Christina Jones, you can read her blog here.
