Cover Wars: Movie Tie-In Style
There are lots of movie tie-in books coming out this year and it got me thinking: Do you guys like movie tie-in editions? Personally, I love them. I bought myself the Something Borrowed tie-in edition because I absolutely love the tie-in edition’s cover. It’s beautiful. A lot of the movie covers I’m putting up for Cover Wars today are ones I would buy, in fact, and the only tie-in edition I wouldn’t buy is the tie-in for I Don’t Know How She Does It as the original cover is so nice. So, here goes. We’ll have the original cover then the movie cover:

- Digg
- Stumble it!
- Cover Wars: Ophelia in Pieces by Clare Jacob
- AW Cover Wars: If This is Paradise I Want My Money Back by Claudia Carroll
- Cover Wars: French Lessons by Ellen Sussman

It’s a mixed bag for me. I like the boook covers better for Twenty Times a Lady, I Don’t Know how she does it, and The Devil wears Prada. For the others I like the movie cover.

I always prefer the original versions! I refuse to buy the movie tie-ins, but I will admit that some of them look great!

For the ones you’ve listed I prefer the movie ties in, especially “I don’t know how she does it” I cannot wait for this film!! When does twenty times a lady come out?

I usually like the original covers more than the movie tie-in.

I am for the original covers, the movie-tie ins are all too movie posters for me and I don’t enjoy them as much.
