Book News: The Night Before Christmas by Scarlett Bailey
I am somewhat obsessed with Christmas novels, and while I try and keep my bookshelves to a minimum once I’ve read books, Christmas novels are the ones I never seem able to part with, I love reading them again and again! Scarlett Bailey is bringing us a new festive tale on 27th October called The Night Before Christmas, and I think it sounds fantastic. Not to mention the fact the cover is divine… I want to read it now!
All Lydia’s ever wanted is a perfect Christmas…
So when her oldest friends invite her to spend the holidays with them, it seems like the answer to her dreams. She’s been promised log fires, roasted chestnuts, her own weight in mince pies; all in a setting that looks like something out of a Christmas card.
However, her winter wonderland is about to be ruined by the ghosts of boyfriends past, present and potential future. She’s snowed in with her current boyfriend, her old flame and a hunky stranger. Well, three (wise) men is traditional at this time of year…

Is this a first book for this author as I haven’t heard of her before. Sounds amazing though!

I too am wondering if Scarlett Bailey has written anything before? This book sounds lovely. I absolutely love Christmas fiction and even have a few books I never got round to finishing last Christmas. Even so, I will be buying all the new ones this year.
It seems if we have any hope in finishing them by the time Christmas is over, we need to start now!
Can’t wait for your review of this.

I adore that cover! I really hope it comes to the US because I’d love to read this one as well. You can never go wrong with a good Christmas novel and this one looks great!
