Cover Wars: The Way We Were by Elizabeth Noble
Elizabeth Noble’s latest novel The Way We Were came out in hardback last year and the paperback version will be released in August and Elizabeth has had a cover change (the original is on the left, the new one on the right). I love the new cover, but I’m also disappointed because the old cover matches all of Elizabeth’s other novels and you all know how much I love a matching cover! Which do you prefer?
What if you had a second chance at first love? Susannah and Rob were childhood sweethearts. But as with most early love affairs, they broke up, moved on and now find themselves in very different places. And not entirely happy - who is? A chance meeting between them sends shockwaves through their lives. What happens when your first love makes a surprise reappearance? Is fate telling you it’s time for a second chance . . . or should you simply walk away and let the past become ancient history? But Susannah and Rob just aren’t able to forget the way they were . . . and the world is about to discover the consequences of their reunion.

I like both covers, but I think I’d be more likely to pick-up on a whim the new one! It looks very cozy and dreamy, haha.

I like the new one. I think it’s more meaningful than the first one.

I noticed the original hardback because of it’s beautiful cover.I had never read Elizabeth Noble books prior to that. Then I bought all her other books with similar covers which are equally pretty .I still love this cover and think it is much more attractive and engagng than the new one.
