Book News: The Camera Never Lies by Tess Daly
Another celebrity turning her hand to writing fiction is Tess Daly, the woman most famous for presenting Strictly Come Dancing, and of course being married to Vernon Kaye. This is Tess’ first fiction book, although not her first foray into writing as she has previously released “The Baby Diaries: Memories, Milestones and Misadventures”. Will you be looking out for this one or are you getting fed up with celeb’s filling up the fiction market?! The book is due out on October 13th 2011 and here is the synopsis:
“Britt Baxter is a twenty-something model on the verge of landing a campaign that will make her career. But when things don’t go to plan her dreams of seeing her face onbillboards are shattered, and she is forced to pick up the pieces and start again.
As Britt faces an unpredictable future , she is spotted by a television executive in the most unlikely of places. She is offered the job of a lifetime as a fashion reporter on the nation’s favourite breakfast television programme, Rise and Shine. Invited to all the parties, the press and the public can’t get enough of her. Britt is ‘the next big thing’.
But then a story breaks that leaves Britt feeling betrayed and she no longer knows who she can trust and she soon discovers that the drama behind the scenes far eclipses anything that goes on in front of the camera.”

I loved tess’s other book as I like to read people’s experiences about motherhood. But I don’t like when celebrities try to write fiction rather than non fiction. I think if their going to try at anything they should stick to non fiction.
