Why we like/dislike it: Along with Lindsey Kelk’s book cover for ‘The Single Girl’s To-Do List’, this has to be one of my favourite book covers this year with ease! The gorgeous bright blue sky, stand out pink text in the heart shape and the small beach scene at the bottom convey the idea that this is a fun filled beach read with ease, and will certainly jump out at you from a book shelf! Belinda has always had gorgeous book covers, but I think this has to be her best and if the story inside is as good as the cover, we’re in for a real treat! Superb, one of my favourite covers ever.
Overall mark out of 10:

Would we buy this book based on its cover? Yes!!

Do Judge A Book By Its Cover is a new feature on Chick Lit Reviews, where we take a look at some of the best (and worst) Chick Lit covers in existence. No synopsis, no hint of the story, just plain old book cover judging, with marks out of 10!

I think it’s really pretty, but no. Maybe if the author was a little smaller, and all that pink text was inside the heart. Then I would. Haha. It just kind of clashes with the blue sky. (I’m extremely nitpicky like that.)

Juju at Tales of Whimsy...

It’s cute but not overly motivating.
