Book News: The Come-back Girl by Katie Price
I can’t quite believe this woman is putting her names on books as an author, but yes, Katie Price is back this summer with yet another ghost-written novel. The Come-Back Girl is due for release on July 21st 2011, and although I like the cover, I can’t help but feel it sounds just like all her other novels. Here’s the synopsis:
“Once upon a time, Eden had it all; she was one of the most successful young singers in the UK, and the darling of the pop industry. Life couldn’t have been better. But just two years after a sell-out tour, Eden is regarded as a has-been, better known for her drinking and the kiss-and-tell stories that a string of men have sold to the papers.
Desperate to get back in the big time, Eden begins recording a new album with songwriter Jack Steele, a man who drives her crazy for all the wrong reasons. And then she’s asked to be a judge on the TV talent show Band Ambition. It’s just the break she needs and she’s determined not to mess it up, so falling in love with Stevie, a contestant on the show, is probably not a very good idea. But Eden has always followed her heart, and she is sure Stevie is ‘the one’.

Lord help us.
I think the cover is horrible. I think the black and white covers for her earlier books add class to what are trashy novels and this has just gone back to the trashy look her books used to have.
It’s probably fair to say I won’t be reading this book.

Well now I know she doesn’t actually write them. Will I read it? Yes. Will I pay full price for it? No. The cover isn’t much of a puller for me. It’s more about the synopsis on the back of a book.

i love these books and cannot wait for it to come out. i dont like the look of the cover but the stories are always good, i like that they are all kind of similar. preordered it ready for my holiday as i have done for the past 4 years

I think everybody is jelous of what she has achieved. I will definately be reading this book, they are all fabulous!

I see that she becomes a judge on Band Ambition, which Crystal was a contestant on. Does that mean Crystal will make an appearance in the book?

I absolutely love all of her books, especially the Angel series. Does anyone know if she will be releasing a next one about Angel?? Looking forward to this new one.

I read all of Katie prices books and they are fabulous, this one looks really good but the cover looks horrible but the saying (never judge a book by its cover), most of you’s are jealous of what Katie has achieved in her life, so why don’t you’s take a look at your life before judging people
