AW March 2011 New Releases

Posted By Danielle on March 4th, 2011

This month is bursting with new releases in the Chick Lit world in the US! With close to two dozen books being this month and most are brand new, I’m not sure my bookshelves will be able to hold them all. So, in an effort to share as many of them with our readers as possible I’m doing something a little different. Take a look…

This month all you need to do to get a bit of info on these titles is click on them! They’ll take you to their individual Goodreads pages where you can add them to your bookshelf and take a look at the synopsis’. Because I’m a bit of a cover fiend this suited me quite well. What do you think? Are there any covers that stand out to you more than others?

March is an exciting month! Which books are you anxious to read?

I am eager to read Jodi Picoult’s Sing You Home and Linda Francis Lee’s Emily and Einstein. Quite a few of the other books are re-releases that I have already read.

I have already bought or pre-ordered many of these. Wow i didn’t know there were that many though!LOL

I’m looking forward to:
The Peach Keeper, The Provence Cure, Already Home, and Sing You Home after reading Danielle’s review of it.

Bookalicious Ramblings

Horrible, horrible covers. :(

I have to agree with Bookalicious, none of those covers (bar Jill Mansell’s which is actually an older UK cover) are nice at all, and it would put me off reading any of those books which is wrong, I know it shouldn’t but it does! There does look to be some good stories in there though.

There are twenty-three novels there and neither of you like ANY of the covers? Not one?! Come on, I get you’re allowed an opinion but to dislike all twenty-three covers? It’s very demoralising when you encapsulate all American covers as bad.

For the record, most of these covers are beautiful as far as I’m concerned. The Lost Dogs & Lonely Hearts cover, The Peach Cover, Home to Woefield, Emily and Einstein, My Jane Austen Summer, Already Home and The Provence Cure for the Broken Hearted are all books I’d pick up and that’s without seeing the synopses.

I too agree the covers are awful glad that our covers here in the uk are a lot better than this can’t say any of them are up to much.

Bookalicious Ramblings

The only two I like are The Peach Keeper and My JA Summer and I’m intrigued by The Dry Glass of August and maybe My One and Only. The rest don’t appeal to me at all. And all American covers are by no means bad, I never said that, it’s just this bunch is quite bad. Generally I prefer UK covers to US ones, but there are many, many US ones that are superb too!

I love these covers and have totally bookmarked this list. Thank you :)

I’m such a sucker for dog covers :)

I must admit, I generally perfere UK covers over US Cover, but I do like a few on this list. Sing you home, lost dogs and lonely hearts, my one and only and faking it.
