Cover Wars: Men I’ve Loved Before by Adele Parks

Headline sent out an email to their newsletter subscribers containing the new book cover for Adele Parks’ latest novel Men I’ve Loved Before which was released at the end of last year. I loved the book, and indeed the original cover, but I have to say the new cover is very pretty too! However, I do wonder whether it’s a bit too light and fluffy looking considering the serious subject matters in the book, and therefore I think the older cover perhaps suits this book a bit more. Which do you think is the better cover?

I like the little black book
But then I’ve always loved that analogy.

I like the old one as well, I agree it looks too girlie to be a serious subject!
