AW Book News: Melissa Senate’s Top 5 Debuts for 2011

Posted By Danielle on February 12th, 2011

It’s a well known fact that Melissa Senate is a household staple when it comes to American Chick Lit. So, when this incredibly talented writer puts together a list of her Top 5 Debut Authors to look for in 2011…we should all be on the lookout!

A couple of them I hadn’t heard of yet, but know I’ll definitely be checking into. But…no big surprises here, two of my most anticipated reads for 2011 made her list!
The Bird Sisters by Rebecca Rasmussen
The Violets of March by Sarah Jio

Congratulations to both Rebecca and Sarah! I was absolutely thrilled to see both of these lovely lady’s books on Melissa’s list and now know that I’m even more excited than ever to read both of them!

So, head on over to She Knows Entertainment for the three other picks Melissa made and let me know, will you be picking any of them up?

The Weird Sisters is one i’ll be reading soon. The blurb sounds so good and so far the reviews have been great.

Learning to Swim sounds intense, and just that little bit provided on the post has me hooked!

I have pressed the “buy” button for The Kitchen Daughter. I love books about cooking, and a little bit of mystery adds some spice.

Danielle,

Double the loveliness! Thank you so much for including The Love Goddess’ Cooking School in your Valentine’s Day post-I’m honored and so touched! You can bet I will order the Carol Mason right away too.

And thank you again for sharing my SheKnows post about the 5 debuts I’m dying to read. I’m reading The Weird Sisters now and can’t wait for the other four.

“A household staple when it comes to American chick lit”-I may frame that. ♥
