Book News: You're The One That I Don't Want by Alexandra Potter
Posted on Saturday, October 24th, 2009 by ChloeFans of Alexandra Potter will be pleased to see that her new novel is now available on Amazon for pre-order! You’re The One That I Don’t Want is due out on 8th July 2010, and is Alexandra’s 8th book. Here’s the synopsis:
“What if you found your soulmate…
and then discovered you couldn’t lose him?
When Lucy meets Nate aged 18, it is love at first sight. As far as she’s concerned, he’s The One. Caught up in the whirlwind of first love, they kiss under the Bridge of Sighs in Venice at sunset and – according to the legend – are tied together indefinitely.
But ten years later, they’ve almost forgotten about each other. That is, until fate starts to bring them together. Again. And again. And again. It doesn’t seem as wonderful as it had before, but if Nate’s not The One – then why on earth is it proving so hard to break up with him?
A funny and magical romantic comedy about what happens when every girl’s dream of finding her dream man comes very true indeed…”

Karen Swan‘s debut novel Players is due out on 15th January 2010 and sounds perfect for Bagshawe fans. I quite like the cover myself, I love the font used for ‘players’. Players sounds like an interesting read:
The main jist of the story is that we are introduced to the main character who is Natalie, a young successful business woman who falls pregnant after a fling with a handsome man. She keeps the baby and decides to raise him on her own, while her mother still thinks she is travelling in China!
The story follows the lives of the residents of Bridgewater House, an old mansion which has been converted by developers into smaller individual flats.
The fantastic Catherine Alliott returns in 2010 with her next book One Day In May. It’s due for release on 4th March 2010 and sounds fantastic, as always. I also love the cover and can’t wait to read it; I’m so glad Catherine is back with regular releases:
