Martine McCutcheon’s debut fiction book The Mistress is one I’ve been looking forward to for a while, but it’s not out until November so we’ve still got a wait! However, you can now visit the website for the book, www.readthemistress.com and read the first chapter now!

Well, the jacket’s pretty. But the content…? OMFG. A lesson, I think, in why slebs should not be allowed to write novels themselves…

I thought it was pretty decent…not too engaging but it does create some curiousity wanting to know what happened next….then again, the title gave the story away.
