September Releases from Little Black Dress
Little Black Dress have another two releases in September and both sound like good reads:
ALISON GAYLIN - HEARTLESS - 3RD SEPTEMBER
After ditching a high-powered Manhattan job to join her lover Warren in a tiny, quaint Mexican town, Zoe Greene’s ready for a more tranquil way of life. But as soon as she arrives in San Esteban, it’s clear there’s something very strange lurking behind its idyllic appearance.
Creepy local customs, a gruesome recent murder, and Warren’s peculiar disappearances do little to ease her fears. When tourists are killed, Zoe decides it’s finally time to get to the bottom of the sinister goings-on. But it could be asking questions is really only asking for trouble…
MARY CARTER - SUNNYSIDE BLUES - 17TH SEPTEMBER
When lost soul Emily Tomlin a.k.a. Andes Lane moves into a tranquil houseboat on Seattle lake, she hopes to put an end to nine years of tireless travelling. But it’s not long before her life is being turned upside down again, this time by her landlord, Jay, and his extraordinarily gifted but equally infuriating ten-year-old son, Chase.
When Jay is sent down and Andes reluctantly agrees to accompany Chase on his quest to Sunnyside, Queens for the summer, she’s forced to square up to the secrets and lies buried deep in her own past. With romance blossoming and a newly emerging peace of mind, has Andes found her true home at last?

The stories don’t really blow my mind, but woooow the covers sure do! LBD books never disappoint as far as covers go, it just makes me want to collect them because they’re so gorgeous!

I cannot wait to read Sunnyside Blues, I have been waiting since 2007 for her next book and am so excited for its release.
Alison Gaylin is another favourite of mine. I agree that some of the titles aren’t great, but some of them do blow my mind! Though I agree about the covers - simply gorgeous.
