Dorothy Koomson’s next novel, The Ice Cream Girls, is due for release on 18th February 2010 and you can now read the first chapter on her website - click here to read it (you will have to register, but it’s free!) The Ice-Cream Girls sounds fab and I can’t wait to read it:

Dorothy Koomson’s next novel The Ice Cream Girls isn’t due out until February 2010, but Amazon already have the synopsis up. It sounds like a brilliant read, just like her other books and this is one that I personally am really looking forward to. Here’s the synopsis!

The brilliant Dorothy Koomson has had massive success with such novels as My Best Friend’s Girl and Goodnight, Beautiful. Luckily for her fans, Dorothy has a new novel set to be released in 2010 and it is to be called The Ice-Cream Girls.

The book is released on 12th February 2010 through Sphere. There’s no synopsis yet on Amazon, but of course we’ll post it as soon as it’s available!

Nova and Mal have been best friends since, well, forever really. They grew up together and Nova thought they’d end up together as well.

But when Mal met Stephanie, he fell in love and married her. The couple have a big favour to ask Nova - will she have a baby for them? Nova agrees but when the couple suddenly decide they don’t want their baby anymore, Nova is left feeling frightened, alone and unsure she can be a single mother.
