Book Deal: Arrow books buys Sweet Valley High sequel
Publishers Arrow have purchased the much-anticipated sequel to the famous Sweet Valley High series originally written by Francine Pascal. Over 150 books were written in the series that was published between 1983 and 2003. Now, the twins Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield are back in an adult version of the books called Sweet Valley Confidential, also written by Pascal, and it is due out in paperback in April 2011. I loved the original series, and can’t wait to see whether this book lives up to my great memories of these books!

I loved these when I was younger. I was always so lost in a library and could never find a good book to read so always relied on Sweet Valley High. That, and Goosebumps. I enjoyed the junior series aswell. I can’t believe Pascal wrote 150 books!
