Book Cover: The Time Is Now by Pauline McLynn

Pauline McLynn is yet another actress who has turned to writing and she seems to be a fairly popular author. I actually have two of her books on my shelf to read, Brights Lights & Promises and Missing You Already, and they sound fab. Her latest book The Time Is Now is out in hardback in July, and paperback in January 2011. The cover for The Time Is Now is vastly different from her previous covers, and seems far more grown up than you might expect. Here’s the synopsis:
A masterful story of secret lives in the streets of Soho. In the heart of Soho lies an elegant townhouse that is home to a group of extraordinary people. Over the past century, the inhabitants of Broadwick Street have experienced life to the full - war and peace, austerity and wealth, love and death. From an outbreak of typhoid to a stolen painting, the interlinking stories that emerge will enchant and enthrall Pauline McLynn’s many fans as she transports her readers to Soho past and present.
