Why we like/dislike it: I have to admit, if I was walking through a bookstore and saw this book I would have picked it up. If for no other reason than the Emily Giffin quote on the front of the book. So perhaps this is a case in favor of the “author quote” on a book cover? The photo they use is really pretty, but I do wish it wasn’t quite so fuzzy. It actually reminded me a bit of the cover for Love in Mid Air by Kim Wright. Still, this is definitely a book I saw advertised and clicked through to look at simply because I was captured by the cover’s light feeling.

Would we buy this book based on its cover? Yes.
Do Judge A Book By Its Cover is a new feature on Chick Lit Reviews, where we take a look at some of the best (and worst) Chick Lit covers in existence. No synopsis, no hint of the story, just plain old book cover judging, with marks out of 10!

I agree with you about the photo. Definitely wish the photo wasn’t fuzzy. Would’ve said Yes but it’s a No for me because of the photo. :/
