Jessie Woods is a modern day Cinderella: she lives in a fabulous pink ‘palazzo’, has her very own TV show as a daredevil and has managed to bag herself her very own Prince Charming in the shape of Sam. However before you can say ‘fairytale ending’, Jessie finds herself jobless, friendless, boyfriend-less and moneyless all within the space of a couple of days.
There’s only one thing Jessie can do, and that’s to swallow her pride and go back to her childhood home, to stay with her evil step-mother and wicked step-sisters, despite cutting them out of her life as best she could after leaving home at 16. Will Jessie be able to claw her way back to the top again, or is she destined to spend her days suffering with her family for ever more?

When Lucy meets Nate in Venice aged 18, she believes that he’s The One and that they’re destined to be together forever. When Lucy and Nate learn of the Bridge of the Sighs and the legend behind it - that everyone who kisses underneath the bridge, at sunset, are destined to be together forever - they go ahead and do as the legend says.
Ten years later, Lucy has moved to New York and she and Nate have lost contact until the Legend brings them back together again. Lucy thinks they’re fated to be together and everything’s fine for a while, until the both realise they’ve changed and their relationship goes sour. The Legend, however, keeps bringing them back to each other again, and again, and again. Is Nate ‘The One’ for Lucy and if not, just how is she going to get rid of him?

Twenty five year old Daria has finally managed to find a well-paid job in Odessa after months of searching. Prices in Odessa are rising whereas employment is falling so as soon as Daria hears about the job, working for a shipping company, she does whatever it takes to get herself the job. ‘Whatever it takes’ turns out to be sleeping with the boss, Mr Harmon.
To distract him from pursuing her, Daria introduces him to her friend Olga which soon turns out to be a big mistake and Olga ends up making Daria’s life at Algonaut hell. Daria finds herself searching for a second job and ends up at Soviet Unions, a match-making/mail-order bride-type business and after matching up many Odessans with American men, Daria finds herself yearning after the American dream for herself...

Judd Harrington is back in England to cause a stir, and he’s intent on succeeding. He brings along his wife Kitty who is petrified of Judd and his awful temper and his 2 sons, Elliot and Sebastian. None of Judd’s family actually like him but live in fear of him. Ace, his third son, is the only one who is still in America and is still being controlled by him.
Life for Judd’s arch-enemy Lochlin isn’t going too well either. His record company Shamrock is struggling against the newly formed Jett Corporation, run by none other than Judd. His relationship with his wife Tavvy and son Shay has seen better days, and he’s trying to stall his talented singing daughter Iris from joining the ruthless showbiz world.
Judd, however, has other plans. He’s determined to sign Iris to his record label, and uses his son Ace to get her despite what Ace wants. Judd wants to make Lochlin suffer, and at any cost - he wants to ruin the Maguire family once and for all. Will the ruthless Judd Harrington succeed in destroying Lochlin and his family?

Hannah Cumming has moved over to the UK on a bit of a whim. She’s an American who recently lost her job, and so decided to do something completely new and exciting… move to another country. However, when she gets here, Hannah realises that perhaps she’s made a bit of a mistake because she hasn’t really got a clue about anything. She’s got no job, no place to live, and doesn’t seem to understand half the things the British people around her are saying. Hannah’s determined to make it work, and when she meets the lovely Mark, it looks like things might be on the up for her. But when the going gets tough, is Hannah going to get going again?

TV favourite Karen King has been having a difficult time of late. She caught her husband of twenty years, Jason, cheating on her, before he left to shack with the girl in question, and although her presenter job on Girl Talk is going well and she believes that her four co-presenters will always be there for her, she’s about to be in for a huge shock.
When it’s announced that Helen England, anchor of Channel 6′s Good Morning Britain, is to leave, the Girl Talk girls are suddenly pitted against each other in a bid to all try and land the job. But in the cut-throat, dog-eat-dog, world of TV presenting, can Karen rise above it all to come out on top, or will one of her co-presenters beat her to it?

Lu Edwards is sure she is never going to find Mr Right. She knows exactly what she’s looking for, but it just seems somewhat impossible to find. When she meets handsome, rich and nice man Marcus in a bar, she thinks she may have struck lucky but it turns out he’s off to America, so that’s another hope for Lu gone.
As well as trying to find her Mr Right, Lu is desperately trying to do something very important for her elderly grandmother - find out exactly what happened to her parents back in the war. Lu ends up meeting Nick, a man who specialises in military history, and he helps Lu find out more than she could have planned for… but with several things in his world that Lu doesn’t want in hers, is she ever going to be able to find her Mr Right, or is is she destined to always kiss Mr Wrong?
