Printing your own booklets at home

You may think that printing your own booklets is an exercise in hard work, and it does take up time and space, but DIY book printing can be very useful. You can print out your own samples to send to selected recipients, the local book stores, industry outlets and have some hard copies to sell online, so it’s not going to be wasted time.

You can use Adobe Acrobat as your basic print source.

The software will collate your book properly and help you format the pages.

Check your document before printing!

Go to Print > Page Scaling > Page handling on the Adobe print menu to select print size.

Select duplex printing if your printer supports two-sided printing. This also saves a lot of paper.

For the odd pages, select back side only on the Booklet subset menu if you can only print one side at a time.

You’ve now got your printed booklet. Select binding from wire, perfect or other easy manual binding types.
