This is a quick shopping list of your essential supplies.
Chlorine generator- This uses salt to generate hypochlorous acid, which cleans the water in the pool.
Salt- You can use special salt or ordinary, non-iodized salt. Iodine turns the water yellow.
Cyanuric acid- This acid is used to stabilize the hypochlorous acid and prolong its action in the water.
Testing kit- This is an absolute essential. You must be able to check the water to ensure it’s healthy and safe. You also need to know for sure that your chlorinator is working properly and that the pH level and chlorine levels are OK.
