You can also clear out a lot of things fast, giving you more space and making things easier when you move.
Breaking up the load when you move does cost a little money, but not a lot. You can get good storage rates for a few months at a quite bearable cost.
Your removalists will be able to get your stuff into storage for you and reduce your burden when you arrive.
