International Baccalaureate- A short overview

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a globally recognized qualification. It’s gaining a lot of traction in the new global environment and getting appreciation for providing a high value international benchmark degree. It’s also making a few waves in the insular old educational accreditation system in more ways than one.

Getting an accredited course is naturally very important. Getting international recognition, however, can be a horror story. If you’ve ever tried finding out if your qualifications are accepted in the US, you may know how difficult, not to say baffling, it can be. The IB is changing that situation, very much for the better.

Experienced educators are also of the opinion that it’s adding a great quality control to this fundamental qualification with its revolutionary International Baccalaureate books. The IB books are printed on the basis of being as up to date as possible. This is the remedy for the old, out of date texts which have been the curse of education for many years.

The IB is now a global movement, gathering a lot of steam in the tertiary education field and changing the face of the baccalaureate streams forever.
